1:1Supported Rides

Our 1:1 supported rides are all about creating an experience that is personal, safe and meaningful for each rider. Whether someone is looking for gentle movement, focused training, time outdoors, confidence-building, social connection,  or a sense of adventure, every session is shaped around them. With the right support and the right adapted trike, each ride becomes a chance to move, explore and enjoy the freedom of cycling in a way that feels truly their own.

Once you are happy with our plan, we can meet on a weekly basis at the Exeter Rehab Hub car park to receive regular 2 or 3 hour sessions.

We supply equipment so your carers and family are encouraged to come along and share the experience, fresh coffee, fig rolls and some of the best views in SW England.

We work with case managers and other health professionals to deliver freedom from disability.

First Journey

Sessions can progress in a number of chosen directions:

Some clients have weekly sessions, some fortnightly and some whole day sessions (anywhere in SW England) depending on budget or schedules.

Some clients progress to make our service unnecessary and lead on to a path of equipment purchase. Freetrike has been a dealer for several manufacturers since 2010.

This first meeting takes place at the Exeter Rehab Hub:

(Shell House, Dawlish Road, Exminster EX6 8AA)

where we access the 21 mile traffic free Exe Estuary Trail. We discuss your specific abilities and needs and what equipment we might use.

We have access to the largest selection of trikes in the UK.
